OP Trimburg Denby Dale – Supported by local ward councillors
Officers attended the Denby Dale area on Operation Trimburg that targets fatal 5 offences and anti-social driving. Intelligence is fed into the operation by the Kirklees ward councillors from members of the community.
The fatal 5 offences are… Failing to wear a seatbelt Speeding Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs Driving whilst using a mobile phone Driving without due care and attention and/or dangerous driving

4th of November 2026 – Day of action Traffic Offence Report X6 – No Seatbelt X3 – No MOT X1 – Fail to maintain lamp X3 – Glass not as prescribed X1 – Expired driving licence X1 – Contravene a red traffic light
